Are you a Christian? To become a Christian and know that you will spend eternity in Heaven, you need to receive Jesus as your Savior, fully accepting His death as the sufficient sacrifice for your sins (John 3:16), and fully trusting Him alone as your Savior (John 14:6; Acts 4:12). Becoming a Christian is all about having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

On Line Giving Is Now Open
Online donations can be given by clicking on the far right tab at the top of the page. We are using the Tithely app to provide this option. A small usage fee will be deducted from your gift for this option or you may cover the fee with your gift. 2025 Chili Cook-off
Congratulations to Tina Furness for winning the Golden Ladel Award at our 2nd Annual Chili Cook Off! Tami Moler placed 2nd and Nelma Lawton's chili was voted 3rd place.
Thank you to all eight of the chefs of our yummy pots of chili and all who participated! It was a great time of fellowship and full bellies!
Oct. 31st Blessings and Treats
Sharon Furness made certain that everyone who drove through or dined in with us on Oct. 31st got treats to go along with their grilled hamburgers and hot dog meal.
Annual Cookout
Our annual Good Shepherd Methodist Parish cookout at the Niehaus home was held on Oct. 12. Good food, singing around the campfire, and great fellowship. See photos HERE
First Place Float!
The Hillsboro Methodist Preschool float was awarded 1st place in the religious category of the 2025 Old Settlers Parade! The float featured photos of the preschool classes of 1975 and 2025, fitting well into the parade theme of "Making Memories," as we have been doing that, while serving our community for 50 years and counting! The Hillsboro Methodist Church is celebrating 200+ years of Christ centered worship! On Sunday, May 19th, 2024, we honored the rich history of the Methodist Church in Hillsboro with a special worship service, choir, catered dinner, and sharing of history of the church in Hillsboro. You can see many photos of that event here .
Although there have been changes in location, name, pastors, and parishioners, one thing has remained the same - our commitment to Christ! We feel so blessed to honor our past and joyfully embrace our future here in Hillsboro! View a historical slideshow here.
